Nice work. would you consider a commissioned piece? Are these raku or food grade fired red clay?
I especially like the colors.

mrblauer,
Thank you for the input. Some of my earlier work is done with an earthen red clay and the later is done with raku clay. Both are fired to cone 6, and the glazes I use are formulated to be food safe at cone 6. We use the pieces all the time at home and have had no problems.
I am glad you like the colors I use. Hopefully more work will be posted soon, as I will be participating as an art vendor at a downtown event.
I have stopped selling items online through the Etsy store for the moment, but am open to selling pieces from my site if they are still available.
By the way, I see you are from MN. I am originally from Sauk Centre.

And, after looking at your profile, the fact that you are from Apple Valley, and the small picture that looks vaguely familiar, I am convinced that mrblauer is my uncle.

Yes,I am your uncle. (busted ;)
My water "glass" from the St. John's potter is getting chipped up and I am looking for a replacement, so I am pleased to learn that you are still throwing and/or may have some stock available.
I have an idea for a unique mug design. Do you have a normal e-mail account I could use to expound?
I hope the downtown event goes well. I look forward to seeing some photos if you get the time to post them.
